 Sargodha was laid out by the, he British as a trench province in 1903, and was at first spelled Sargoda.[17] Sargodha was severely impacted by a flare-up of the bubonic plague in 1903, and encountered a milder flare-up in 1904.[18] Although it was a modest community at the outset, the British Royal Air Force fabricated an air terminal here because of its vital location.[19] The expression "Sargodha" has its starting point in the words "Sar" (from "sarowar") signifying "lake" and "Godha" signifying "Sadhu", and that signifies "Lake of Godha". This city was established by Lady Trooper by the oversight of Sir Charles Montgomery Rivaz KCSI (1845 - 7 October 1926), a provincial overseer in British India and Lieutenant-Governor of the Punjab from 1902 to 1907.[16][20][circular reference
